Find the exact maths gap holding you back — then fix it.

Most students do not struggle because this year's chapter is hard. They struggle because something from two or three years ago was never finished, and everything since has been built on top of it.

Free to start. No sign-up, no account, no ads. LKG to Class 12.

How it works

  1. Take a short test — about 10 questions, five minutes. The test adapts as you go. Get something right and it moves up; get something wrong and it steps back to check what that skill was built on.
  2. Find your real starting point. A Class 10 student failing quadratic equations often turns out to have a gap in negative number rules from Class 7. That is the real problem — not quadratics.
  3. Practise from there, ten questions a day. Every question is generated fresh, so you never run out and never memorise answers. Difficulty adjusts as you improve.
  4. Climb back up. MathGap builds the exact path from your gap to your class level, and walks you up it one skill at a time.

What makes it different

It finds the real problem

Other apps give you more practice on the topic you are failing. MathGap checks what that topic is built on, and starts where the foundation actually broke.

It works for every board

Division is division. Fractions are fractions. MathGap is built on maths skills rather than one board's syllabus, so it works for CBSE, ICSE, State Board and every other board.

Every wrong answer is explained

Getting something wrong shows the full working, step by step — not just a red cross. There is a hint button too, for when you want a nudge rather than the answer.

It never runs out of questions

Questions are generated by the app, not stored in a list. Practise the same skill fifty times and you will get fifty different questions.

Built by a maths teacher

The skill map behind MathGap — what has to be learned before what — comes from years of watching real students get stuck in the same places.

Covers LKG to Class 12. Counting and number sense, addition and subtraction, tables, division, factors and multiples, HCF and LCM, fractions, decimals, percentages, profit and loss, simple interest, integers, algebra, equations and more.

Simple and private

For parents and teachers

If a child says "I am bad at maths", they usually mean "I missed something and never caught up". MathGap tells you exactly what that something is, and in which class it was meant to be learned. Then it gives them a clear path back.

Ten minutes a day is enough.
