Refund & Cancellation Policy — MathGap

Last updated: 22 August 2026

In short: MathGap is free to install and try, including sample printable worksheets. There is one optional one-time purchase. It is not a subscription, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing that renews.

Try before you pay

The entire learning side of MathGap — the placement test, daily practice, step-by-step explanations, revision and the full course — is free and always will be. Printable worksheets are free to try as well. You only reach a purchase after using the worksheet feature enough to know whether it is useful to you.

What the purchase is

Unlimited printable worksheets — ₹149, one time. Paid once, owned permanently. It does not renew, it is not billed monthly or yearly, and no further amount is ever charged. There is therefore no subscription to cancel.

How to get a refund

All payments for MathGap are processed by Google Play, so refunds are handled by Google under the Google Play refund policy. We do not receive your payment directly and cannot reverse a charge ourselves.

  1. Within 48 hours of purchase — request a refund yourself through Google Play. Open the Google Play Store, go to Menu → Payments and subscriptions → Budget and order history, find the MathGap purchase, and choose Request a refund. This is usually automatic.
  2. After 48 hours — write to us at thangaraj4545@gmail.com with the Google Play order number and what went wrong. We will review it and, where the request is reasonable, ask Google Play to refund the purchase on your behalf.

When we will always support a refund

Write to us in any of those cases and we will help. Please include the order number from your Google Play receipt so we can identify the transaction.

Restoring a purchase you already made

If you reinstall MathGap or move to a new phone, the unlock returns automatically when you open the app while signed in to Google Play with the same account used to buy it. There is also an "I already paid — restore" button on the purchase screen. This is not a repurchase and you are never charged twice. If it still does not restore, contact us rather than buying again.

How long refunds take

Google Play processes approved refunds back to the original payment method. The time taken depends on your bank or card issuer, and is typically a few working days. We reply to refund emails within two working days.
